Arthur doesn’t host events like this often, it’s been years since our last, which makes this one-night-only dinner with Maxwell Wines from McLaren Vale especially meaningful. The partnership is built on shared values: provenance, craftsmanship, and family. Maxwell is a family-run winery with deep roots in McLaren Vale, and Arthur shares that same respect for seasonality and producers. Together, we create a dining experience where guests explore one cellar and one winemaking vision, with each wine beautifully paired to the food. The Maxwell team joins us in the dining room, guiding guests through their wines with the depth of knowledge that only the producers themselves can offer.

The Experience

The evening begins with a glass of sparkling on arrival, before unfolding into six courses paired seamlessly with wines from Maxwell. The Maxwell and Arthur teams serve side by side, creating a relaxed yet refined atmosphere with generous opportunities to engage with the producers and deepen your understanding of their craft.

Arthur’s head chef Juwon Gwak and Maxwell’s executive chef Fabian Lehmann come together to create a one-night-only menu that celebrates the season and showcases the very best of Australian produce. Thoughtfully crafted to complement Maxwell’s wines, the menu reflects both chefs’ precision and creativity, resulting in a truly harmonious collaboration.
